We appreciated the fact that we as a family had our own room and were able to cook for ourselves - well equipped, spacious kitchen! If required, frozen menus could also be purchased on site. Beautiful view from the panorama window.
Our room was very humid and moderately lit.

Great location near scenic hiking trails. Warm and comfortable beds with clean linens. Beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and countryside.
Staff was rude and unaccommodating during our New Year stay. The kitchen facilities were poorly maintained, and the communal areas were dirty and overcrowded.

The value for money was exceptional, we got a spacious room for two that could actually fit four! The location was remote and perfect for breathtaking walks in the Highlands of Scotland. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay, making us feel right at home.
Breakfast items could have been improved, as the kitchen was closed off during our stay and we weren't able to enjoy a meal in the morning.

During my Christmas stay, I absolutely loved the stunning views of the Scottish Highlands from every window. the staff at the hostel were incredibly friendly and helpful, making sure that my stay was perfect. the comfortable beds and clean bedding ensured a good night's sleep. the lounge with panoramic windows was a fantastic place to relax and take in the breathtaking scenery. Another advantage was the well-equipped kitchen, which had everything I needed for cooking. the hostel provided a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made my Christmas stay enjoyable.
There was no blue light discount available anymore, which would have been a nice added benefit. public transport to the hostel was a bit challenging, especially if you don't have a car.
